Except the lack of elevator, it is ok.

Nice beach near.

Big mistake: no elevator. It is very hard to climb up to the second flour for somebody who is old.

for location and for a couple of nights if your travelling it’s great value for money

the location was brilliant right on the beach front and just down the road from the shops and restaurants. pool was clean and cared for

only problem was with the rooms as they have no view they just face straight at another building. no lifts so have to climb 5 flights to get to your room. also the shower has no pressure so you can’t have a wash very well.

The lady at reception was so friendly! The close proximity to the beach was amazing.

We stayed here for 3 nights and our room didn’t get cleaned twice and when it did the one time we had to ask. There is no lift, which isn’t an issue for us but may be for some. Overall the property was run down and not very clean. The location is ok if you have a scooter but about a 30 minute walk to the main area in Chaweng with all of the restaurants and bars.

The family room was not a room but a palace that was super super good

The breakfast was super super bad, no coffee no buffet, food was just not enough. The beach was unlocked every time and the way back had to be a kilometer detour. Even when told to leave the gate open, it wasn't done. This hotel is not recommended under these circumstances.

I need of a serious renovation. extremely poor value for money. receptionists were hide and seek champions. carried cases up two flights of stairs. no lifts working

Good value for a cheap price, but you wouldn’t want to pay anymore!

The bed was comfortable and the value for money was fine. The rooms were clean.

The place is called Samui First House, and although it could actually be, the building gives off the vibe that it was the first house built in the island. It’s very run down and dirty. The staff weren’t exactly welcoming at checkout and couldn’t seem to be bothered. The pool looked dirty and it was far from the centre, which isn’t advertised on the site.

The bed was really uncomfortable, there is no way to get fresh air in the room. It was really noisy, not a good place for resting. No window makes it feel like a prison. Plugs not working. Couldn't get hot water in the shower. Not coming back

Pleasant

The air-conditioning was new so nice and cold. The pool was nice to relax and cool down. Very quiet area. Staff friendly.

No lift and when you are on the second floor it was not easy for older or bigger guests. Bulb out in bathroom, hallway, balcony and lighting outside room not working so it was dark when returning to the room at night. No tv in the room as advertised, a day later a TV was given to us, but it was Android TV so not great as it worked off WiFi which brings me to the WiFi which was poor and dropped signal all the time so not good for Android tv, so no point having a TV in the room. No shower curtain, only hooks and a pole, so water would go everywhere when showering. No tea in room No mini bar as advertised. Mould around bath and botched grouting in places. A lot of dust in room. Balcony windows dirty. Looks like only half the rooms were being used, the others were a mess as could be seen as doors were open. Very quiet area, many shops closed down and away from the main area, you need to hire a motorcycle, or rely on taxis to get around. Breakfast not great, same thing more or less every day, and some days the birds would land on the tables while you eat or at the buffet area, one day they got at some food before the guests did. No safety there with electrics at breakfast when they had two toasters and a double hot plate running of an extension which then melted when a lot of guests tried to make toast at the same time, it was then unplugged and people went without toast, they could have moved the table a few meters and plugged them directly into the wall a lot safer. WiFi not good. Mattress on the bed really hard for me.

Decent location and for the money it ain’t bad especially for travellers, nice pool ac was good Wi-Fi was fine

Not the cleanest quite a lot of stains on the bed sheets but for the price you pay everything else is okay
